When it deals about Russians, WADA chases doping. When it deals about China, WADA "forgets" doping. There is an African athlete, with Scandinavian origins, that's setting record and gold medal beating all Scandinavian athletes with African origins, and WADA says it's regular.

2:38 "Sibillo has been left behind. He seems to be left in another race". And looking at the race it is true with no dubt. BUT let's see Sibillo's performace. Semifinal 47"93 Final: 48"77 Much better in semifinal but 48"77 compared with Warhol 45"94 itsit's just another race!! AGREE 100%. However let's compare 47"93 with the last two 400 hs olimpic finals (Rio and London): London 2012: GOLD Félix Sánchez 47"63 SILVER Michael Tinsley 47"91 BRONZE Javier Culson 48"10 4 Dai Greene 48"24 5 Angelo Taylor 48"25 6 Jehue Gordon 48"86 7 Leford Green 49"12 8 Kerron Clement 49"15 Rio 2016: GOLD Kerron Clement 47"73 SILVER Boniface Tumuti 47"78 BRONZE Yasmani Copello 47"92 Thomas Barr 47"97 Annsert Whyte 48"07 Rasmus Mägi 48"40 Haron Koech 49"09 Javier Culson DNF So... yes the guy didn't realized 400hs moved not to another race... @fitnews Benjamin is only 1 year younger than Warholm. Dos Santos is almost at Benjamins level and is 3 years younger than Benjamin. If they stay free from injuries, I think Dos Santos will be a bigger competitor to Warholm in the future. At the 23 years of age Warholm had won World Championship 2 times, Benjamin has not. Now at 25 years of age, he has won olympic games 1 time and his last defeat dates back to 8 September 2018. There are NO WAY Benjamin is becoming as great as Warholm, because he doesn't have the achievements to refer to at the same age as Warholm.

If 2010s is the best era for 100m sprint, 2020s is the best era of 400m hurdles. Karsten Warlhom vs Rai Benjamin, Sydney McLaughlin vs Dalilah Muhammad. How crazy this race is when the 400m hurdles break under 46s which is beyond what we can think. Similar in 400m in 2016 when Niekerk almost break under 43s. I just can't imagine 2 athletes able to break the world record by a huge margin with addition to the 3rd place that beat the olympic record. I just feel pity with Rai Benjamin. His greatness comes in the same timeline as Karlsten. I hope he will continue to put more effort or he will end up carrying all silver medals in Olympic and World Championship all his life.

Take a chill pill. Warholm has the best technique of them all, when it comes to jumping the hurdles. You can take as much steroids as you want, it still would not make you a great hurdle runner/jumper...

According to WADA's lists of most infamous doping nations, Norway is way down, so it might be a bit of a stretch to call this particular country "infamous" for doping. And before you say this might have to do with money/corruption, please consider that even though Norway is relatively rich, it also relatively tiny. Bigger countries, would therefore naturally have much bigger resources to cover up any doping - countries like Russia, USA, China, Italy, France, Turkey, Canada, etc. And yet, all these countries top Norway on WADA's lists of doping offenders. Do you really think Norway is the great puppet master of doping testing? If so, I think that seems a little bit naive. Now, I know some people put a lot of focus on the medicine some athletes with asthma use to breath normally. I assume that's where you take that "inhaled steroids" comment from. However asthma is mostly a problem for winter sports athletes (tough training in cold air), and actually not a particular thing for Norway (for instance a Russian winter sports star athlete like Alexandr Legkov also uses asthma medicine for his condition, and as long as he uses it according to regulations, all is well). Warholm does, however, NOT have asthma and does therefore not use asthma medicine either. It would be nice if people back accusations up with solid evidence or solid analysis instead of just firing away. If athletes cheat, I hope they get caught - whichever country they come from (my own country or any other). But just attacking any individual with great results, making general allegations, without solid facts to back it up, I think just help to make the doping problem even worse. The reason for this is that it helps to lessen the crimes of the real offenders - and whitewash various countries' practices to accomodate the cheating.

Warholm is so fast he could win most national championships in 400 flat with hurdles! Don't know how Benjamin feels. Decimating the legendary Young world record, smoking his rival's recently set world record, and then somehow 46.17 is still not enough to win.. And how about dos Santos! At just 21 years of age, he runs the fourth fastest 400 hurdles of all time! If he builds on that towards 2024....

The vast majority of talented young athletes in Norway choose to pursue skiing or other winter sports. Historically that’s our biggest sports heroes. So achievements like this is pretty baffling to us. The success of Warholm and the Ingebrigtsen brothers are both results of unique athletes-coach (and family) relationships. I dare say the head of our national sports federation has even been contra productive to some of our summer sports athletes with their narrow mindedness. Until results spoke for themselves. So with that perspective their achievements are very much their own success stories.
